As Ashlin manipulates materials with angles and precision, she creates structures that give a sense of defying gravity, as societies are doing without proper infrastructure. Ashlin manifests her own protection by creating sculptures that protect her from the weight of her own internal barriers. Through distorting the walls of her structures, Ashlin demonstrates that paths aren’t linear, rather sharp and uncertain.
